Sunless tanning for face?
hmmm
Reply:Are you the film actress Trisha
Reply:ask the doctor
Reply:Sure, they make special kinds just for the face area so be sure to get one of those
Reply:Yes, but make sure you use a tanner designed for the face. The facial skin is different from the skin on the rest of the body.

Do you HAVE to use tanning lotion in a tanning bed.....?

i mean like do you have to use an actual like tan accelerator, like those california tan products...?

i dont really care wat kind i use, i just use a cheap kind..but my friend told me that you dont need to wear tanning lotion just as long as you are moisturized and odnt have dry skin you will still get a tan...

is that true or should you use tanning accelerators in tanning beds?

Do you HAVE to use tanning lotion in a tanning bed.....?
I've went before without lotion and tanned ok.It's just better for your skin to use it.If you tan really well then you probably don't have to spend all that money on their lotion.
Reply:no u don't have too but it help too reach ur plato
Reply:It just better for your skin ans safer...but if youwant to take the risk then thats on you.
Reply:No you don't have to at all. Also, the cheap ones are just as good as the expensive ones. I have LOTS of experience with this believe me. Banana Boat has lotions for as little as $10 and they compare with lots of expensive fancy lotions I have gotten, some as high as $75.

Designer Skin products for 2008 ???

For those of you who tan, has anyone tried any of the new designer skin tanning products for 2008? I personally LOVE their products. I use revival, spellbound, and angel moisturizer, they're all great but I want to try one of their new tanning lotions, but can't figure out which one? I'm interested in Black and 14 Karat gold, I find that their lotions with silicione emulsion works best. Thanks!

P.S. I don't want to hear about the dangers of tanning, I already know, and I only go once every other week to maintain my glow.

Designer Skin products for 2008 ???
I agree with you; their products with the silicone emulsion are the best! I have the DS Black, and I love it! I have tried the 14k Gold also, in a sample packet, and liked it as well. They both smell great! Spellbound is also good; it has the silicone emulsion formula too, but only has 4 bronzers.

You definitely can't go wrong with Designer Skin's products. I've been using them for some time now, and none of the other tanning lotions I used to use gave me anything like the great results Designer Skin stuff has...

Self-tanning......?

Hi. I am almost 100% Irish so I am kinda super white (and yes I do have a minimal amount of freckles.) I was really tan when I was younger and the older I got the whter I got. I am a natural light blonde so it is hard for me to tan in tanning beds. I mean after a whole month of tanning everyday but sunday i'll be super duper tan but to maintain it i have to go every day for 20 minutes (which sucks bc that can lead to skin cancer...if i don't go everyday withing 3 days i will be super white again.)

I was just wondeering if anyone had found any sunless tanning products that dont break the bank (I am a starving college student so I am on a budget.)

and I tried mystic sunless spray booths many times and they work miracles but 25 -35 is too much to pay for a tan that lasts 7 days

thanks guys!!!!

Self-tanning......?
Decleor Auto-Bronzant Spray Express Hydratant SPF 6. You'll find this to be one of the best and least pungent self tanners you'll try. Tanning agents are 100 percent organic and are suitable for face as well as body.
Reply:Go to WalGreens or CVS - there is Jergens tanning body lotion. Be sure you bath first before using it. There are also some other lotions and sprays you will see, but I really liked this lotion. It gives you a tan over time, plus it moisturizes the skin in the process.
Reply:why are you trying to give a false shade?

I think white girls are hot!

And i mean like white, 100% Irish huh? freckles....hmm you tell me you have red hair and I guarantee you will have someone at attention.

You should be happy with how you were born.

Those fake tans won't last and will most likely leave gross stains on your clothes or just burn your skin in tanning beds.

You're probably very hot the way you are.

Why change it?
Reply:bath and body works has this amazing product called breathe energy 24/7 radient moisture gradual tannign body lotion. it is an around the clock lightweight lotion that works overtime to provide 24 hour moisture and a natural looking glow in only a few days. it instantly provides a subtle light shimmer making you skin literally glow and the scent lasts for days. plus- it doesn't instantly make you look orange. it slowly turns you darker BUT it looks natural. i love it and i use it every day during the winter.
Reply:OMG! I am like you! Well, second to super-white but pretty fair skin! Try exfoliate super well and then apply a thin layer of This : http://www.drugstore.com/qxp90317_333181...
Reply:I have tried so many different self tanners, my fav is loreal sublime bronze, in the gel form. It takes several hours to process, and the dry time is about 15 min., but its worth the wait. Its the most natural and long lasting tanner I have used.

Sunless tanning vs. Outdoor or Salon?

I have used many sunless tanning products in the past; leaving me covered in orange streaks....ick. it may be safer than salon or outdoor tanning, but im Fed Up with sunless lotions, sprays, etc.... because of how they leave me lookin' like a pumpkin. Are outdoor tanning and salon tanning beds as harmful as some ppl say they are? I mean really, i need a liddle color on my skin, so hopping into a tanning bed wont kill me, right? Since i am concerned about my skin and such... which is safer, outdoor tanning or tanning beds? --or are there any healthier alternativez that give good color??-- Thanx for your answerz!!!!!

Sunless tanning vs. Outdoor or Salon?
Sunless tanning is the only safe way to tan. Have you tried going to have a Mystik Tan sprayed on you? These look much more natural %26amp; cost about $25.00 per application of the tan. You can also buy them as packages to get a better deal.

Estee Lauder has a nice sunless tanner %26amp; so does Prescriptives. Their colours are a lot better than others. My sister uses sunless tanners %26amp; she likes Estee Lauder. It doesn't turn her orange- she is a natural red head w/ very fair skin.

Here is the lecture: sun is the #1 cause of wrinkles %26amp; cellular damage. If you must be in the sun, use a good SPF to protect yourself. Just imagine not looking like an old leather bag by the time you are 40!
Reply:Get some sun every day for 10 minutes until you get the tone you like, it's safer and more natural.
Reply:THE TANNING SALON IS HORRIABLE AND DEFINATLY LAY OUT IN MODERATION EXCESS OF ANYTHING IS BAD IVE TRIED ALL THE SUNLESS TANNERS AND YOUR RIGHT STREAK AND ORANGE EWWW BUT THE BEST ON TO BUY IS AT SALLY BEAUTY SUPPLY ITS ABOUT 12.00 BUT LAST A LONG TIME ITS CALLED TOMAS TAN PUT IT ON AND NIGHT SHOWER IN THE MORINING AND YOULL BE NICE AND TAN I LOVE THIS STUFF NO ORANGE WHHOOOOOO HOPE THIS HELP I SWEAR BUY THIS STUFF GOOD LUCK
Reply:yes. The salons and outdoor tanning is really terrible. I use a neutrogena sunless tanner and it works great for me. You could even go to a makeup line and ask them what sunless tanners they recommend.

Good luck!!!!
Reply:Tanning beds are even worse than outdoor tannings because they use a higher concentration of UVA on your skin.

You could try using gradual skin tanners like Jergens.
Reply:UV is known to be dangerous to people in the long run and no one can say 100 percent that tanning is safe. If you have any type of cancer in your family or if you burn easily then I honestly think its better to be safe and stay protected from UV rays.

Being exposed to UV rays in any way can cause harm but if you limit your exposure and take the appropriate precautions then you should be ok. I would say tanning beds are slightly safer because you are controlling the amount of exposure.... just go to a place with knowledgeable staff and stay away from the "ultra" beds and make sure you wear your goggles and do not over do it! If you are tanning outside make sure you use sunscreen and wear sunglasses and limit the amount of time outside.

As for fake tanning I use Jergens Natural Glow and it does not leave any streaks or orangeness (as long as you rub it in properly and your skin is exfoliated) I use it everyday after a shower because it tans your skin gradually. It doesn't give you that extreme dark look... but it gives you a natural looking tan! Check the bottom of this page for tips to have a sucessful fake tan http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/sunless...

So sunless tanning definitely safer... and if you choose to tan otherwise be careful and take the appropriate precautions.
Reply:have a spray on tan professionally done (guarenteed no streaks) or get the spa feel and go on a tanning bed. Either way, there is no safe way to tan because indoor and outdoor can cause damage to your skin, so protect yourself.

What is the best tanning bed lotion or spray to use? Are there any big differences in the products?

I want to get the most out of my tanning bed experience. This year is the first time I have ever gone and I don’t really feel like I am getting the results I wanted. Maybe I am just impatient. I was wondering if one lotion was any better than the other. Any tips?

What is the best tanning bed lotion or spray to use? Are there any big differences in the products?
Try using Tao. Salon formula is better to use than OTC.

Tao is a brand of lotion.
Reply:it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again...
Reply:Usually anything with hemp
